if you have faith even as small as a grain of mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, move from here to there, and it will move and nothing will be impossible to you. -Matthew 17:20
We would like to express how grateful the Mustard Seed Family is for all you do. Without your crucial help, we wouldn’t be able to run as smoothly as we do. Your service is a vital part of our ministry.
Our policies are as follows:
• We respectfully request that no volunteer threaten check marks or verbally reprimand the clients. If volunteers experience discipline or behavioral problems with our clients, inform a staff member & it will be dealt with accordingly.
• None of our clients should be given phone numbers or addresses. We have experienced problems with our clients abusing the privilege of phone numbers & addresses, & ask that none be given. You may send a Seedster mail addressed to the Mustard Seed to their attention.
• We expect all volunteers conduct to be in keeping with a Christian environment. Please respect the dignity of the Seedsters, Mustard Seed staff, & other volunteers.
• Due to behavioral & health considerations, clear limits are established pertaining to the amount of food provided for each client. All food & snacks intended for the clients must be approved by the Program Director, Elizabeth Adams.
• The Mustard Seed does not participate in court remanded volunteer and community service hour programs. We strive in every way to first serve our clients & to secondly serve our volunteers. Please know how grateful we are for the gift of your time! We hope that you have benefited much from the ministry of our special clients, as we have benefited much from your generosity.
