Dear Friends of the Mustard Seed,

It is with great pleasure that I write this letter to introduce myself to those of you I have not yet met and to share with you all of the exciting things that are currently taking place at the Mustard Seed.   My brother, Matthew, has lived on the Mustard Seed campus for a little over ten years, and I am so grateful for the program that we offer.

As you all know, the Mustard Seed is truly unique.  Our program, in accordance with our Mission statement, provides a “loving and protected Christian community and meaningful activities that allow the participants to fulfill the potential that God has created within them.” I am reminded that this is true each and every time I am at the Mustard Seed or with a Seedster.

God gives us the gift of the Mustard Seed by blessing us with the hard work and support of you – the dedicated staff, the motivated volunteers, the Mountain Movers Women’s Auxiliary, our generous donors, the parents of the Seedsters, the board of trustees, and all of those that make a difference in the Seedsters’ lives.

I want to let you all know that the board of trustees is committed to preserving the excellence achieved at the Mustard Seed and improving in any areas as needed.  The current board of trustees is as energized as ever and this year we expect to accomplish many goals.  For example, we are currently assessing and planning to address our campus facilities and have already begun the process of improving the infrastructure on our campus.  In addition, the board of trustees, along with our staff, regularly evaluates our activities and considers additional activities that would enhance our program.   These are just a couple of items that we are focused on this upcoming year.

I encourage you to come visit our campus so that you can get a first hand look at the miracle of the Mustard Seed.  Thanks for your support.

Best regards,

Jack Nichols
